The question of today for this blog is: What makes a restaurant Fast food or Slow food?In my last two entries I have been telling about a restaurant and when it comes to restaurants, I´m a generous tip giver, but I always appreciate it too if I am not rushed with questions like if I´m already through with this or that, and having my glasses or plates taken away before I am actually through.
I mean if I want a quick meal, I supposed I have contented myself with fast foods, but as I have chosen a slow one, obviously I need time with my food. And I think it should be likewise with restaurants, if they love speed: it is alright to operate a fast food, otherwise I think they really should love people who enjoy great peaceful time with their food and company.

But of course this is only easy said when it seems common with "in between" ones nowadays, like the ones you might probably encounter in food malls like the Hötorgshallen in Hötorget in Stockholm. Restaurants which are kind of hard to determine weither a fast or slow food, that when they start picking up after you, it is actually also hard to determine if you are actually in the right place to request some right to a peaceful meal. And I´m sure many are also bewildered about this too, so let´s help some guidelines here perhaps as to what do you think can be some legible indications for fast and slow food places:
Indicator for fast food: Tall standing table and counters, ready buffet, student and staff canteens ... ?
Indicator for slow ones? Menu, dimmed lights, book only tables, ..... Any other ideas are welcome on the comment.
Anyway, nevertheless of the facts about fast or slow food, I always appreciate restaurants who, (althought understably couldn´t cater so much time like a teahouse can hospitalized its guests, and where meal itself is considered a ritual), have at least learned to take things easier somehow, which I should say are still many in Sweden where most people still value quality time. Then I usually find the staffs happier too which naturally makes me come back again.
