福相!开心! Look Glad! Feel Happy!

Whenever I travel between Sweden and East Asia, one thing I noticed between these two places is the difference in clothings. As east asian - swedish blog, this gave me a good motive to blog clothings both from Sweden and Asia for each other, as well as for our readers from other countries, to view, know and be inspired of one another. Familiarity makes friends as one says.

Anyway, I would have like to take pictures of just ordinary people for this, but unlike we east asians who love being picture taken, swedish can really be camera shy, so until I got my chans with a more ordinary pictures for this issue, here is my first feature on swedish clothes from one of many swedish clothes collectors catering to people´s all walks of life, Halens, which collections are I think really getting better in time:

One thing about Sweden is the cold, yet naturally many women still love to look feminine in dresses too instead of looking gorgeous but perhaps tougher in winter hunting like outfit everytime only. But believe me ladies, in minus 20 degrees freeze you won´t be showing off those pretty legs and risk turning them to grey and blue of cold. So the solution is tunika, which would look like dress over a pair of jeans or tights, which with right grace it can really look brilliant on anyone.

And talking about looking and feeling great everyday, Zen is said to be inside out and ouside in - we look like we feel, we feel like we look. So aside from trying to have 福相 a happy expression as we chinese always prefer to see and be seen, we also welcome ourselves in good decent clothes - or even fun ones if one feels like it. Then we believe fortunes come as we look and feel. Try it!

And lastly but importantly, add tea to your recipe. Not only Chadao, the way of tea, will show you the way to a happy you, but even Darjeeling FFP for instance may give you a very good night sleep, and you wake up very well rested the next morning, and these Zen Oolong in small packets which is great to have to maintain a healthy weight.

More from other swedish clothes collectors too, and even for men - so hang on until next clothes issues .....

.... for Chadao ...
