"腰金衣紫" "My purple acknowledgement" to family

Once in Xiamen in China, light suddenly changes it seems, from that almost poetic nuance in color when compared to Beijing to an almost natural brightness like the chinese everyday philosophy. Even food seem to change their beats and rythm suddenly. Seafood are one of the prides. Very tasteful, specially when combined with other chinese delicacies like mushrooms and seaweeds.

In special chinese gathering like this, when not less than a half dozen of dishes is on the menu, rice is usually not included as major on the list, but with all the exquisite food and teas like Longjing, everything is just great. Specially with Longjing which can perfectly balance your appetite and complement your diet. Great for those who will lose weight.

And just like that chinese everyday philophy I mentioned above: Yes, everything will be just fine, as long as you´re please of what you have right now. These are one of those everyday words uttered by my elders, as I remember. No matter in which stage one is, from little to much, the same learning has to be remembered: Be thankful of what you have. Only with mindfulness and care that everything stays and grows to greatness. Anyway, I hurried and took these pictures, before my family reminds me that in China the food is to be eaten, not picture taken! .... well, a blog habit now, I should say ...

And with these I would like to take the chance and say mindfully, that although this blog is also serving as our teahouse updating posts, but principally this is for Chadao which in our case fortunately includes having a teahouse, so there we go, we are serving it all in one plate, like typical chinese. Nevertheless I would say, like our culture is very particular with, the prioritation is, no matter what, always: First family and friends before anything else, and so this blog is also first and most happy and care about with principally.

.... but contrary to the learning, I admit I almost made the mistake of first featuring the food before the family´s. Shame on me, I apologize for my distracted and unmindful ways as always, the mistake is now taken cared of as shown above, except for the purple decorated giant shrimps, which I would like it to symbolize abundance for all of us in the family. Thank you for the good reception dear family in Xiamen, and to your good guidance always that: Despite in less or in abundance always remain humble in heart. Most blogs are still unavailable in China, but this is to thank you and see you again!

.... för Chadao ...
